Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Reko was raised in a very firm military home where from the age of 7 he ironed his own clothes for school, washed dishes, and helped out with all of the household chores. Reko later moved to Detroit, MI at the age of 15 to live with his father. If you know anything about the motor city then you’ll know why it made him a more resilient well rounded young man.

Reko is a very family oriented person. He has a son who he loves dearly. He also has a nephew and a niece who look up to him as a father figure.

Family is the single most important thing you can have in life. They are your support system. Without family there will always be an empty space within your life. In 2012 I dropped everything when I found out my sister was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I sold my share of my business to my longtime friend and business partner, sold my home, picked up and got on the road. I felt like I needed to be there for her and my nephew, so I made sure I was there to support.”

Motto: Never set boundaries, shoot for the stars.
